Clinical Radiology

Dr Richard Kinh Gian Do

Dr. Richard Do is an Attending at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in the Body Imaging Service. He joined in 2009, after completing a radiology residency and a fellowship in body MRI at NYU. He grew up in Canada, and attended Cornell University for college, medical school, and graduate school. At MSKCC, his research interests are generally in hepatopancreatobiliary cancers, and radiomics of colorectal liver metastases in particular. More recently, he has been focused on natural language processing, standardisation of radiology lexicons, and real world data: tumor response assessment.

Dr Giles Maskell

Dr Giles Maskell is a consultant radiologist based at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, UK, since 1991. From 2013 to 2016 he was President of the Royal College of Radiologists. He has lectured widely and written extensively on aspects of radiological practice. He has a particular interest in radiological error – the perceptual, cognitive and cultural reasons behind it and strategies for preventing or reducing it – and in the development and maintenance of a healthy culture in radiology departments. He is clinical lead for the Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) radiology workstream.




Radiation Oncology

Professor Farshad Foroudi

Farshad is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist with a particular interest in uro-oncology, breast cancer and palliative radiotherapy. Farshad has over 20 years of experience at a consultant level. Prior to commencement as Director of Radiation Oncology at Austin Health, Farshad was the Chair of the Uro-Oncology Service at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Farshad has over 170 peer reviewed publications, the majority as first or senior author. In 2015, Farshad commenced as Director of Radiation Oncology at Austin Health covering Radiation Oncology both at the ONJ Centre and Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre. He is is a past President of the Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group. Under his leadership a MR Simulator and MR Linear Accelerator were installed in his department in 2020-1. His main clinical sites are breast cancer, uro-oncology and palliative radiotherapy. Farshad maintains a focus in patient care, multi-disciplinary care and new technology implementation.
