Mr Joe Earles is a Head & Neck Surgeon working at Auckland City Hospital and Auckland Head & Neck Associates as both a resection and reconstruction surgeon. He trained as an ORL-H&N surgeon in NZ before undertaking subspecialist head and neck surgery training in the USA. Joe's clinical interests and work are centred around resection of mucosal, skin, salivary and thyroid cancers, airway managment and complex reconstruction including microvascular free flaps. He is actively involved in clinical research at Auckland University, education as the supervisor of training at Auckland City Hospital, and quality improvement by establishing the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery program for head and neck surgery in Auckland.
